Now that the season of celebrating family, food and friends is long over and the decorations are put away, it’s the time of year to savour family, food and friends. What better way to do that than by enjoying wintery, savoury meals together like hearty chili and stews, homemade soups, meatloaf, and roasts with gravy?
Personally, I’m looking forward to spending time with family and friends this winter, whether that is snow tubing, playing outdoor hockey or cheering on our Olympic athletes. For me, a superbowl of chili is simply a hearty bowl of chili (you’ll have to wait for my recipe 
) with the addition of a dollop of sour cream and some shredded cheddar cheese, served with a handful of tortilla chips on the side.
