What you’ll do

Wonder whether a vegan pantry is different than other pantries? Join Chef Shabnam as she starts the class with a few savoury and sweet snacks: chia crackers with sautéed kale, green pea and walnut pesto and gluten-free almond cookies with mini chocolate chips. We will discuss the pitfalls of a vegan pantry and how to look out for hidden non-vegan ingredients. We’ll explore basic items to get started, then walk through Longo’s and discuss how to build your vegan pantry to create common recipes.
