Cauliflower Tagine

Serves 4 to 6


2 tbsp Longo’s 100% Canola Oil

1 onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp minced fresh ginger

2 tsp harissa paste

1/2 tsp each ground coriander and cumin

Pinch ground cinnamon

1 pkg (1kg) Longo’s Tandoori Spiced Cauliflower

1 cup vegan crumble

1 1/2 cups vegetable broth

1 can (540mL) Longo’s Petite Cut Tomatoes with Garlic and Oil

2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)


  • Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat and cook onion, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes. Stir in harissa, coriander, cumin and cinnamon to coat. Add cauliflower and crumble; stir to coat well. Add broth and tomatoes; bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or until cauliflower is tender. Stir in cilantro to serve.
  • Butternut Squash Variation
  • Substitute butternut squash for the cauliflower.
