Green Beans with Orange and Almonds

1 lb green beans, trimmed (about 6 cups)
1/4 cup Longo's Sliced Almonds
2 tbsp Longo's Salted Butter
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 small orange, zested and juiced
1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
- •Cook green beans in boiling, salted water for 4 minutes; drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- •Set large, non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add almonds; cook, stirring often, for 3 minutes or until almonds are golden (watch carefully). Transfer to bowl.
- •Add butter and garlic to skillet; sauté for 1 minute. Add green beans, orange juice, salt and pepper; cook, tossing beans, for 2 to 3 minutes or just until warmed through. Add half the almonds and orange zest; toss to combine. Transfer beans to serving bowl and sprinkle with remaining almonds and orange zest.
- •The beans can be blanched and the almonds toasted up to 2 days ahead. Refrigerator beans in an airtight container and store almonds at room temperature.
