Mushroom Swiss Maple Leaf 50/50 Burger Melt

2 227g pkgs Maple Leaf 50/50™ burger

4 sesame seed buns, split

8 slices good quality swiss cheese

1 pkg Longo's sliced mushrooms

2 tbsp Longo's Unsalted Butter

4 tbsp BBQ sauce, prepared

Crunchy onion toppers, prepared – optional


  • Heat butter over medium high. Cook mushrooms, stirring frequently until softened and golden brown. About 5 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  • Heat Grill to medium high heat. Cook burgers per packaged directions.
  • Assemble burger by spreading 1 tbsp each of bbq sauce onto base of buns. Place one slice of swiss over top followed by the burger, mushrooms and remaining slice of cheese and top bun. Serve immediately.

A dash of advice

Want to achieve the super soft steamed quality of a drive-thru bun? Wrap buns in paper towel and microwave for about 20 seconds. Use immediately.
