What’s included:
Our 2-hour kids cooking class birthday parties include the food prepared during the interactive cooking class and beverages, a three-foil balloon bouquet, and an 8” single layer round cake* personalized with the child’s name and age. All you provide is the hungry guests!
* Cake can be upgraded at an additional cost.
Your inspiring chefs will learn:
- How to make food from scratch
- How to follow a recipe and measure ingredients
- How to chop and dice
- Kitchen safety rules
- The magic of different ingredients and how they taste
- The art of decoration and imagination
What happens during the party?
The party will consist of a 10-minute introduction and colouring on customized colouring sheets, 1¼ hours hands-on cooking instruction and 35 minutes of eating and celebrating. Please note that this does not include time for opening gifts. If you would like to book extra time, please let us know.

Birthday Party Cost and Menus
Here are the delightful dishes that your little chefs can learn to master! The cost per child includes all ingredients for menus listed below. Menus can be modified to suit your individual requests, but an additional charge may apply.
Each package is $30 (+ HST) per child, with a minimum booking of 12 children.
MEXICAN FIESTA
- Beef Tacos (2 per child) with shredded cheddar, Longo's Salsa and Sour Cream
- Individual Veggies and Dip with Longo's Ranch
- Chocolate OR Vanilla Cupcakes (with icing and candies for decorating)
- Juice boxes and Longo’s water (1 each per child – children are welcome to bring a re-fillable water bottle
PIZZA PARTY
- Pita Pizzas (with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms)
- Caesar Salad (with croutons, parmesan cheese and Longo’s Caesar Dressing)
- Chocolate OR Vanilla Cupcakes (with icing and candies for decorating)
- Juice boxes and Longo’s water (1 each per child – children are welcome to bring a re-fillable water bottle)
PANCAKES & PJs
- Sheet Pan Pancakes (with berries, chocolate chips, Longo's Pure maple syrup, whipped cream)
- Fruit Kabobs with Yogurt Dip
- Chocolate OR Vanilla Cupcakes (with icing and candies for decorating)

BAKER'S DELIGHT
(premium class: $35 per child)
- Whoopie Pies

- Longo’s Cheese Pizza from The Kitchen (one slice per child)

Party Policies and Waivers
Allergy Alert
We avoid using nuts during our birthday parties, however our facility is NOT an allergy or nut free environment. When you call to confirm the number of guests, please let us know if any of the children attending the party have any food allergies, sensitivities, or restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee that anything has not come into contact with an allergen.
Outside Food & Drink Policy
No outside food or beverages are permitted for consumption during the party in the Loft or in Longo’s. Any additional food or drinks you wish to provide must be purchased in the store or from our catering menu.
Number of Participants
Minimum 12. Smaller groups welcome but will be charged the minimum.
Age of Participants
Party packages are designed for children ages 6 and up. If you plan to invite younger children, you must let us know as modifications may need to be made to your party. Cost per child See Birthday Party Menus above.
Booking and Cancellation Details
We require a non-refundable $50 (plus HST) deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date and time for your private party. If the party is cancelled, the $50 deposit will not be refunded. The balance is due on the day of the party (plus HST). Final numbers to be confirmed 3 days prior to the event. At this time, we also ask that you confirm any special requests, dietary restrictions, or special needs that any of the children may require.
Parents/Guardians
All you need to do is show up, sit back and relax as the kids have a blast! We will have two Longo’s Team members supervising the children, and up to two adults are welcome to stay in the Loft during the party. The seating area outside the Loft is available for other guests. Catering is available upon request.
Waiver
All parents/guardians will need to fill in a Child Waiver Form. This will need to be completed and presented to the Loft Coordinator prior to the birthday party starting.
