From Shell to Bite: How to Crack Your Lobster
Cracking The Tail
Holding the lobster steady with one hand twist the tail with your other hand to remove. Pick off the tail flaps and stick your finger through the smallest hole where the tail flaps were. Using your finger, push the tail meat out in one whole piece.
For the Claw & Knuckles
Hold the lobster steady with one hand, twist the claws with your other hand to remove. Use the cracker to separate the knuckles from the claws and to remove the shell. Use a fork to get to the meat inside.
For the Lobster Legs
Holding the lobster steady with one hand, pull the legs away from the body with your other hand to remove. Use a fork to get the meat inside.
Getting to the center
Pull the top shell away from the lobster and discard. Pick out the thin paper-y shells separating the meat. Use your fork to extract the meat from the body
