In-store Cooking Classes for Kids

A parent/guardian over 18 years of age must accompany the child to The Loft room at the store and complete sign in forms to be able to drop off your child. Before dropping off your child at the class, you will be required to review and sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form. A child that does not have a completed form cannot participate.

Our In-store Cooking Classes for Kids are children drop off classes, designed for kids grades 1-6 as of Sept of the current year. If your child does not meet this age requirement (6 and above, or turning 6 and entering Grade 1 by September of the current year), the child should not be registered for classes. If, upon drop off, a registered child is confirmed to be below the age requirement, The Loft Coordinator has the right to refuse entry to the class. Classes involve cooking with kitchen equipment, appliances and tools. Children attending the class will be supervised by one or more Longo’s Team Members.  

Cancellations/Refunds

Cancellations are available up to 48 hours before the class begins and a refund will be provided. To cancel a class, please call our Guest Care team at 1-800-956-6467, email us at guestcare@longos.com, or send us a direct message on social media. Refunds will not be given the day of the class: this includes if your child does not attend the class or if, upon drop off, a registered child is confirmed to not meet the age requirement and therefore cannot participate. Longo’s reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances. If Longo’s cancels a class, you’ll be notified by email and your payment method will be refunded.

Allergies and Food Restrictions

The Loft is not an allergen free environment. We do not use nuts during our children's classes. However, we cannot guarantee that there has not been cross-contamination. If your child has any food restrictions, such as gluten free, halal, lactose intolerance, or any other food restrictions, contact loft@longos.com at least 2 days in advance of the class, and we will let you know if we can make substitutions or accommodations.
