APPLE PIE SPICE CIDER MIX

Ingredients

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 tsp Longo’s Ground Cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp ground allspice or cloves

1/4 tsp salt

Cinnamon sticks and orange zest (optional)

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Whisk together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt in bowl. Transfer to a small decorative jar.


To make cider:


Whisk 2 tbsp of cider mix with 4 cups of Longo’s Apple Cider in saucepan set over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally, until steaming and hot. Ladle into mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange zest (if using).


A Dash of Advice

For extra apple flavour, slice up your favourite variety of apple and place some in the mug before you ladle in the cider or garnish your mug with a slice.
