1 pkg Longo’s Bambino Burgers (6 burgers)

6 Longo’s Slider or Bambino Plain Buns

1/4 cup Longo’s Basil and Sundried Tomato Pesto

1/2 cup Longo’s Whole Roasted Peppers, sliced and drained

3/4 cup shredded medium white cheddar cheese

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Place burgers on preheated greased grill over medium-high heat and cook for about 10 minutes, turning once or until no longer pink inside and an instant read thermometer registers 165°F. Remove from grill and turn grill down to medium-low.


Open buns and place bottom halves into a foil container. Spread with pesto. Place a cooked burger on each bottom, then top with peppers and cheese. Place bun tops overtop and return to grill; close lid and grill for about 5 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.


A Dash of Advice

For double the pesto flavour, spread some of the pesto on the top bun before covering the burgers. This recipe easily doubles for a larger crowd! Variations: Pick up fresh Longo’s Meatballs and gently press them to create your own sliders at home already seasoned and ready to go. For a vegetarian option, substitute Longo’s Veggie Black Bean Sliders.
