HAM AND MUSTARD PASTRY TURNOVERS

1 cup finely diced Longo’s Black Forest Ham |
1 cup shredded smoked Gouda or cheddar cheese |
1/4 cup grainy mustard |
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley |
1 green onion, thinly sliced |
1 pkg (454g) Longo’s Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed |
1 large Longo’s Enriched Coop Egg, lightly beaten |
Directions
DIRECTIONS
Stir together ham, cheese, mustard, parsley and green onion in bowl; set aside.
Unroll 1 of the pastry sheets and cut into 4 squares for large turnovers or 12 for mini. Place half the ham mixture in equal amounts in centre of each square and fold into a triangle, pinching edges for large turnovers. For mini turnovers, fold over 2 corners in centre. Repeat with remaining pastry sheet and other half of ham mixture.
Brush with egg and place on baking sheet lined with Longo’s Parchment Paper. (Make-ahead - Place unbaked turnovers in freezer and freeze until solid. Transfer into an airtight container and freeze for up to 1 month. Bake from frozen.)
Bake in preheated 400°F oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before enjoying. (Make-ahead - Baked turnovers can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. Let thaw then reheat in a 350°F oven until warm.)
