LEMON GELATO MOUSSE WITH HONEY ROASTED PECANS

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS


1 cup 35% whipping cream

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 container (510mL) Longo’s Curato Lemon Gelato

1/2 tsp grated lemon zest (optional)

1/4 cup Longo’s Organic Fruit Spread (blueberry or strawberry)

1/2 cup Longo’s Honey Roasted Pecans, crushed

4 Longo’s Maraschino Cherries or 1 tsp grated lemon zest (optional)

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Using an electric mixer, whip cream with sugar in large bowl until stiff peaks form.


Scrape gelato into cream with lemon zest, if using; beat with electric mixture until just combined.


Spoon half the mousse into 4 dessert or parfait cups. Spoon half the fruit spread overtop. Sprinkle with half the pecans. Repeat layers once. Top each parfait with a cherry or lemon zest, if using.


Enjoy immediately or freeze until ready to serve.
