Ingredients

Basic Smoothie Pack for One:


1 cup chopped fruit of choice

(such as Longo’s frozen mango, blueberries or strawberries or chopped fresh apple, peach, orange or pear)

1/2 large banana, chopped

1/2 cup packed Longo’s Organic Baby Spinach or kale

1 cup Longo’s Signature 2% Milk or non-dairy beverage or juice

Extras (see list)

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Pack fruit, banana and greens into a Longo’s Small Zipper Freezer Bag. Make as many bags as desired, multiplying the ingredients accordingly. Transfer sealed bags to freezer until ready to use.



Add a frozen basic smoothie pack to the blender along with milk. Add whatever extras you like (see list) to boost flavour and nutrition.

Liquid - 3/4 cup milk or soy beverage, 1/4 cup orange juice

Fruit - 3/4 cup Longo’s Frozen Blueberries, 1/4 cup Longo’s Frozen Avocados


Liquid - 3/4 cup milk or soy beverage, 1/4 cup pomegranate juice



PB & J:


Fruit - Longo’s Frozen Strawberries


Liquid - milk or non-dairy beverage


Extras - 1 tbsp peanut butter, 2 tsp ground flaxseed, a squeeze of lemon juice
