SLASHED CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS AND SLAW

1 pkg (750g) Longo’s Chicken Drumsticks (about 12)

2 tbsp Longo’s Chili Powder

1 cup Longo’s Grilling Sauce (pick a flavour)

2 cups Longo’s Kettle Cooked Sweet BBQ Potato Chips, crushed

1 container (400g) Longo’s Coleslaw

Directions

DIRECTIONS

Using small pairing knife, make slashes about 1/4 inch deep all over the drumsticks.


In small bowl, stir together chili powder and 1 tsp each salt and pepper. Add 3 tbsp Longo’s 100% Pure Canola Oil. Rub mixture all over drumsticks (you can use gloves, so not to stain your hands).


Place drumsticks on greased preheated grill over medium heat. Close lid and grill, turning occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until no longer pink inside and thermometer reaches 165°F. Remove from grill and place in large bowl; add grilling sauce and toss well to coat. Return to grill for 5 minutes to set sauce and return to bowl. Sprinkle with chips and toss to coat.


Serve drumsticks with coleslaw.
