2 cups Longo’s Natural Pecan Halves |
1 tbsp Longo’s Country Churned Salted Butter |
1/4 cup dark brown sugar (not packed) |
1/2 tsp Longo’s Ground Cinnamon |
1/2 tsp Longo’s Cayenne Powder (or chipotle powder) |
2 tbsp Longo’s 100% Pure Maple Syrup |
2 cups mini pretzel twists (regular or gluten-free) |
Directions
DIRECTIONS
Place nuts on a rimmed parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and bake in preheated 350°F oven for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Microwave butter in medium microwave-safe bowl for about 15 seconds or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, cayenne and maple syrup.
Stir warm pecan halves into the butter mixture, tossing to coat well. Add pretzels, tossing to coat completely.
Spread the mixture on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring a couple of times. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cool, store in an airtight container.
Tip:
Recipe can be doubled.
