CREAMY SMOKED SALMON PASTA

Ingredients

1 pkg (500g) Longo's Fusilli Pasta 

1 small onion, finely chopped 

1 clove garlic, minced 

1 pkg (200g) Longo's Frozen Atlantic Smoked Salmon or Longo's Frozen Coho, thawed 

1 1/2 cups 35% whipping cream 

1/2 cup Longo's Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce 

Directions

Boil pasta in pot of boiling salted water for about 9 minutes or until al dente. Reserve some cooking water and drain. Return pasta to pot. 

Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp Longo's Mediterranean Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes or until softened. Add smoked salmon, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook for 5 minutes. Add cream and pasta sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, for about 3 minutes or until sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Add sauce to pasta and toss well to coat, drizzling in some cooking water to moisten, if necessary.
