EASY SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE

Ingredients

2 pkgs (454g each) Longo’s Extra Jumbo (16 to 20ct) Black Tiger Shrimp

1/4 cup Longo’s Country Churned Unsalted Butter, melted

2 tsp Longo’s BBQ Spice Blend

2 tsp brown sugar

1 large clove garlic, grated

1 lemon, cut into wedges

2 tbsp minced fresh Longo’s Organic Chives

Creamy Cocktail Sauce:

1/2 cup Longo’s 14% Sour Cream

1/2 cup Longo’s Seafood Sauce

2 tsp finely grated lemon zest 

Directions

Creamy Cocktail Sauce: Blend sour cream with seafood sauce and lemon zest. Reserve in the refrigerator until ready to serve, or up to 3 days. 

Thaw shrimp according to package directions and pat dry. 

Place shrimp in large bowl. Blend butter with spice blend, brown sugar and garlic, then toss with shrimp. 

Arrange shrimp on preheated greased grill over medium heat and grill for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until pink throughout. Transfer to clean bowl; squeeze some lemon wedges overtop and toss with chives. 

Pile on platter along with remaining lemon wedges. Serve Creamy Cocktail Sauce on the side.

A Dash of Advice

Tips: Add a bit of heat to the buttermixture with a dash or more of yourfavourite hot sauce.
