NONNA ZINA’S HOMEMADE CACCIATORE PIZZA

Ingredients
1 ball Nonna Zina’s Homemade Pizza Dough or 1 bag (700 g) Longo’s pizza dough
1 tbsp Longo’s country churned salted butter, softened
1/2 cup Nonna Zina’s Homemade Pizza sauce or Longo’s pizza sauce
1 tsp Longo’s essentials oregano leaves
2 tbsp Longo’s grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded Longo’s mozzarella ball
1 pkg (200 g) Longo’s mild or hot cacciatore sausage, thinly sliced
Chopped fresh Longo’s basil or chopped parsley (optional)
Directions
Let pizza dough come to room temperature. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spread butter onto 14 inch pizza pan.
Lightly flour dough and press onto pan and let stand for 15 minutes. If dough shrinks away from the sides, push it to the edge of the pan. Lightly prick dough with fork (this will help keep dough flat and not bubble up)
Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough and sprinkle with oregano. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and then with mozzarella. Lay cacciatore slices all over top and bake for about 15 minute or until crust is golden and cheese has melted. Sprinkle with basil, if desired
