SUMMER BERRY SANGRIA

Ingredients

2 cups Longo’s Frozen Berry Blend

1 each lemon and small orange, sliced

1 bottle (750 mL) Ontario rosé wine

3oz citrus liqueur such as Triple Sec or Grand Marnier

Longo’s Blackberry Sparkling Water (about 2 cans, 355 mL each)

Fresh Longo’s Mint (optional) 

Directions

Combine berries, lemon and orange slices in large pitcher. Add wineand liqueur; stir to combine. Let macerate for at least 4 hours or up to 8 hours. 

To serve: Use a slotted spoon to divide fruit among serving glasses along with ice, if desired. Fill each glass two-thirds full with sangria and top with sparkling water. Garnish with fresh mint, if using. 

Lemongria Mocktail: For a nonalcoholic option, replace the wine and liqueur with 4 cups prepared lemonade.

A Dash of Advice

Tip: Use extra frozen berries instead of ice cubes to chill the sangria without watering it down.
