TURKEY NAAN SANDWICH

Ingredients

1 pkg (454g) Longo’s Extra Lean Ground Turkey

2 tbsp Longo’s Garlic & Herb Rub

4 Longo’s Flame Baked Original Tandoori Style Naan

Half a 142g pkg Longo’s Organic Baby Spinach and Arugula Blend

2 tbsp Longo’s Chipotle Ranch Dressing (approx.)

Directions

Mix turkey, garlic & herb rub, and a pinch each of salt and pepper together until well combined. Divide mixture evenly among the naan and spread to cover one side of the naan.

Heat about 1 tbsp Longo’s Essentials 100% Pure Canola Oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat; pan-fry naan, meat side down, for about 4 minutes or until golden brown and no longer pink. Flip over and lightly brown the naan side for about 30 seconds. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining naan, adding more oil as necessary.

Toss spinach and arugula blend with dressing and divide overtop of each naan. Fold up and drizzle with more dressing, if desired.

A Dash of Advice

There are 5 naan in each package, so feel free to use them all and divide the turkey mixture among them. You will have a thinner meat filling. For a spicier turkey filling, add 1/2 tsp Longo’s Crushed Chilies to the turkey mixture. Alternatively, check out a harissa or piri piri spice blend to kick up the heat. You can toss the salad greens with any of your favourite Longo’s Dressings.
